The year is about to end, in a couple of days we'll wave 2011 goodbye. Such a happy, life-changing, blessed year it has been. Looking back, so many things happened, am just left in awe and speechless. On a second note, many people would want to have a year-end special. Parties, getaways, while others want to share and shower their loved ones some blessings. I started using eyeglasses when I was 13 years old. Then I stopped for fear it would only worsen my vision. But recently, my eyes started to get so itchy, heavy, and blurry which makes me think I should go and visit the ophthalmologist soon. I haven't in awhile actually. Might be my astigmatism which sometimes causes migraine attacks too. If I could only try one of Zenni Optical's offers. Just feeling a little pooped out this week. I dunno, haven't really done so much but maybe it still has to do with the jet-lag. Times like this all I wanna do is laze around and watch a movie. Bought a new dvd by the way, will watch it later with the rest of the guys. Speaking of, I'm making a list of movies am looking forward to watch. From times by gone to the latest. It would be fun watching 'Speed' again, or Only You. How about Casino, which stars Robert De Niro and Sharon Stone. Am not really a fan of casinos and gambling, but as they say the movie is a must-see. I was in my teenage years when the movie was aired, what do you expect? Anyway, just feeling a little intrigue though, of the story and characters so might as well give it a try. The gambler's life, how is it like?

On a second note, how do you find online casino games? Have you tried playing? Are they real? I once played poker, not the real thing though, and I can say it's definitely not my cup of tea. Too confusing for me. LOL! But maybe it's fun, sure it is. I see some of my friends get hooked to it, playing in their cell phones and computer. With no money involved though. Just plain fun and having a good time.

I still couldn't believe am traveling quite a lot lately. The latest- Dumaguete! A place I consider my second home. Been there last December and again last week. Guess I just can't have enough of Negros. The place itself has so many wonders to offer and the people there are the best. And what's even nicer? My family and loved ones were with me. Got a handful of memories and good laughs with them. I just hope few other people were with us too. Oh there's definitely next time. Dafat lang!

One of the highlights were the zip-line adventure at Tierra Alta, Valencia. 500 feet up, up and away! It was quite bitin actually. Will do it again and again. Whatta feeling...weeeeeeh!

Driving- one of the nicest feeling in the whole wide world. The first time I sat on the driver's seat and held the stirring wheel then turned the engine on, I was at cloud 9! For someone like me who doesn't even know how to ride a bike, it was such a big deal and a major happiness to finally drive and feel the danger, lol! So now, when my sissy told me she's learning how to drive too, (in America) can't help but be excited too. She said it's not as easy as it seems for there are so many things to learn and be familiar with. Told her to just go for it and make it happen. It'll be so nice to learn how to drive and eventually have a car of her own..haha!

On a second note, being a car owner is a serious responsibility no doubt. There's more to just driving a car isn't it? From its performance to its maintenance, it's in your hands. Another thing would be the insurance. The Tv show I'm addicted to? Well currently I don't have any. Gone are the sleepless nights and the carried away mode for now. I used to be so addicted to korean series, (aha!) like the latest 'The Baker King,' which I must say one of the best shows I've watched. The story was so moving and inspiring. Even bought a cd of the whole series and finished it in a week, lol! Then there are those reality Tv shows too like ANTM, my all time favorite. Hmmm.. I can think of just that. Nothing really addictive to nowadays. Thank goodness!

OMG! At the age of 20 something, I got my ankle sore and I really do honestly think it's arthritis already. OMG! It started like a week ago, got a little pain and uncomfy feeling at my right ankle. Then the other day, was with my cousin at the mall grabbing a new pair of shoes and then saw how sore it was! Looks like grandmama's knees and joints. TSK! Would this mean I'm? Of my! Will I have to breakup with my favorite food? Like those made-me-forget-my-name pork rinds,(chicharon) and butter cookies?

Once upon a time I dreamed of traveling to a faraway land called Boracay. Four days ago, that dream finally came true. As his proxy (thank you pang!) I can say, it's one of those moments I'll forever remember. The place was a paradise. On duty

I'm back. Feeling awesome about the entire getaway experience I had the past three days. Will be sharing more about it in my next entries, stay tuned. Anyway as far as jet-lag's concerned, didn't hit me at all. Tired of course but still kicki'n, actually I'm on duty. I'm here at the hospital, my cousin was confined two days ago. She's still under observation, possible dengue. Hope she'll be okay soon, poor girl. Oh I just need to say my piece with regards the nurses here, they're suppose to be friendly. We're all tired, but we can smile at least. Cute scrubs though I must say. Speaking of, the Blue Sky scrubs is buzzing everyone to check out their store now. Being the top choice for nursing uniforms, dental office scrubs and so forth, they have this discount scrub tops that would make the nurses look good. For the '3rd day blog challenge.' Lemme tell you about Zamboanga City...

Day 3 (Share something about your hometown)

Bienvenidos Aqui! Zamboanga City, situated in the western part of Mindanao, the ancient and beautiful City of Flowers was founded in 1965, making it the third oldest city in the Philippines. Now acknowledge as 'Asia's Latin City,' one can imagine being in Mexico if you hear the city's dialect, chavacano or the Philippine Creole Spanish. As the song goes.."si talya u na pueblo dol talya tu na Mexico, el chavacano un poquito de Espanyol.. lalala.." Zamboanga's history and culture has a very strong Spanish as well as Malay influence. Our dialect I believe is what makes Zamboanga different and I'm also quite sure visitors to the city find it amazing.

Another thing we're proud of is the food. Have you ever heard of Curacha? It's a chavacano name for red frog grab, a sea crab species found in the waters of Zamboanga, no where else. It is high-bred crustacean, with crossbreed characteristics of a large sea crab and a big spiny lobster. It sooo red, and remains red even when cooked. It's so meaty and oh so yummy! You gotta come here and have a taste. :]

You see, Zamboanga is one of those few places in the world to be blessed by a rare pink sand beach- the Sta Cruz islands. A 30-minute ride via pump-boat, one can imagine paradise as they stepped into the island, feel the powder-like pinkish sand, splash through the crystal clear blue waters and relax in a very quite place. But it's just frustrating to not so many people can behold its beauty. We don't have a handful of tourist visiting here, and maybe it's because of the city's image as the home of the goons. But far from it, Zamboanga is a nice place to be. Hey, it's not what you think. It's peaceful here and people are very hospitable and warm. Aside from the occasional bombings though..hehe! Kidding aside, if you happen to visit Zamboanga, most likely you'll make a promise to return and come again.

Beautiful Soul, what's behind it? Four years ago I made my first blog which is "Beautiful Language." It was about the same time when I finished taking a year course in Sign Language and meeting the deaf people. It was a happy, fulfilling time for me. Their language is beautiful, speaking and communicating through the hands. During those times, I learned more about people and realized that every life indeed has a story. That every soul is going through a lot of different things in lives. That each has a tale to tell and that every being, every soul is beautiful. So I made this blog and the rest was history.. aww!
That's it. Hope I can continue sharing more stories of nouns and pronouns here in the planet. :D

My blogging life begins again. I'm pretty much aware of how I neglected my blogs for almost a year. They say that when someone is important to you, no excuses, no lies, no broken promises. That keeping in touch and giving your time isn't a biggie after all. The same thing applies to my blog. I want a fresh start here again, I swear! LOLZ! How the heck will I do that?

Simple. I'll join Leah's "30-Day Blog Challenge." No reasons for writer's block here or whatever cause topics are provided already. But no, this isn't as easy as it seems. I'm gonna have to write everyday for the next 30 days! Come what bad internet connection, power interruptions, mood swings, et cetera.. Let's see if I can do it.

Had this last Sunday while having our congregation meeting. Yeah, just sneaking a minute and took this shot.. shhhhh! Silly me. Anyway as for saying something about my week. It's pretty much the same. Waking up every morning with a grateful heart, hoping for brighter things to go my way, and being with people who matters. Isn't that what's suppose to be?

Time flew by so fast its been 4 months since this moment happened. Brother got married with the woman of his dreams and now they are as happy as can be.. lol! Am glad he found the right girl for him. Anyway, It was double the happiness because that's the time of my sissy homecoming after almost four years! T'was our first time seeing my nephew Josh and niece Alexa, they're so adorable! They brought us so many beautiful times, everyone in the family we're smiling and at bliss. Indeed that was my "I couldn't ask for more moment!" I still remember the word sissy told me.. Why have bread when you can have a salmon? Hmmmm... think I know what does it mean. :]

I've always thought of nursing as one of the noblest job on earth. Have several friends and relatives who are nurses and seen their dedication towards their job. It's not easy taking care of other people especially when they're sick. The demands are many as well, time, energy, and even personal health. Nurses are indeed people who has a great amount of compassion and patience. Are you one or you know someone? You well-deserved a commendation!

On a second note, this particular job requires a certain kind of dress code too. Such medical uniforms are as important as their duty. I used to enjoy spending time with you, I can be ME when am with you. Then one day, I got bored. Yes, so bored! I wish I could pretend like I never know you, like a stranger with all the excitement.. but we're not. No matter what, a part of me will always be with you. After all we're together for like 2 years! So how can I not remember???...

HYENA...

Few animals are more maligned than the hyena. And admittedly, they are not exactly endearing creatures. The beady eyes, sloping back, and stolid manner all suggest something scruffy and villainous to many human observers. Besides, the hyena laughs and giggles like a maniac. Its eerie whoop often pierces the quite of the African night. But hyenas have received more than their fair share of negative publicity. So let's set the records straight on a few counts. First of all, the hyena is often thought of a dog or some sort, but no, it isn't. A distinct species, it's resemblance to the dog is purely superficial.

They are also thought of as cowards, on the contrary they are not. If so then they wouldn't be effective hunters. Yes, hyenas are not just scavengers. They have in fact the exceptionally powerful shoulders and strongest jaws of all the African carnivores. No wonder only the male lion could resist the onslaught of a group of hyenas.

But why does it laugh??? The hyenas manic giggle may sound unpleasant but he is merely communicating with his fellow clan member. Each has their own whoop which the other hyenas recognized. In this way, widely scattered clan members let one another know where they so that they can regroup if the need arise. Their excitement at making a kill or discovering carrion is voiced in high-pitched giggles.

Do you dislike the hyena? Granted it is not cuddly or appealing but after all, it's what makes this creature unique and exceptional. The hyenas other qualities such as power and cunning does impress and fascinates us, they truly are beautiful souls.

Two weeks had passed since I last updated this blog. You can't blame me though, am such a wimp lately, stricken by what you call bloggers block. It's as if I just started blogging that it's nearly impossible to think of topics and even random thoughts. I'm on line most of the time but I don't feel like signing in to my accounts and looking at the dashboards seems so daunting. I hate this, this is not happening. I ought to do something or else it'll be a dead link soon. Must get back on track again and do what I love to do, that is to blog. It has been a challenge really, I mean sharing tales and linking to others is mostly related to inspirations and moods. Some days, am so inspired that it's so easy to scribble and rant, but most days I just ain't. I need a blast, like a roller coaster ride or maybe a good movie will do too. Golly, I had enough of lame days lol!

Anyway for a start, let's talk about my favorite reality show that's back on air last night. Survivor, you guess it right! Gone are the nights of sleeping early and say hello to future insomnia lol! In fairness, the time slot is better compared to the first season which gives me hope to watch every episode of the show. I'm just a little disappointed with the early exposure of the survivors. Aren't we suppose to see them at the finale? That's what makes the real one more exciting and nerve-wrecking isn't it? And though it's still too early to tell about their personalities, the teacher seems to show an attitude that's totally annoying LOL!

Oh well, so excited for the second day a little bit later. GTG!

Have you ever been awakened by a red charmer with a cheerful song? If you lived in North America, that may be your happy exit from slumber because one of the most popular songbirds- the cardinal- makes his nest in that part of the world. The males cardinal stakes out his territory with a clear whistle. And he can be a persistent and accomplished singer! Accordingly, one male cardinal was recorded as having 28 songs made up of different combinations of syllables.

This beautiful little soul is about eight inches long, decked out in bright red feathers with a distinctive black "bib" around his bill. However, the female wears a coat of dull brown plumage. She belongs to one of the comparatively few species whose females can sing.

I may not live in North America but that doesn't stop me from admiring these pretty little friends. How I wish to hear these songbirds cheer one day!

Clap..clap..clap! Yei, finally I got to watch "Transformers-Revenge of the Fallen" last night. My cousin Vine and I were so anticipating for this sequel. I've been hearing a lot of good comments from everybody, that it's better than the first one. And they're right, with regards to the action and fight scenes, the effects, it was a blast! But to be honest, was expecting more of Optimus Prime. No doubt, he's still so manly, gorgeous, and heroic but...nabitin ako eh! I didn't fell for him last night lolz! On the other hand, Bumblebee was so adorable! He's such a sweety, the kind of buddy we are all dying to have. By the way, where's Bee at the ending? I didn't see him, as well as the twins Skids and Mudflap. And Wheelie too, the decepticon who changed sides, where are the guys? Come on, enlighten me lolz!

Nevertheless, I enjoyed the movie! Sam was hilarious during his Einstein theory speech and yes, lots of great laugh from the new characters, especially Leo and "RobboWarrior." Oh, And how can I forget, Major Lennox! He's like a dreamboat, you're one lucky girl Fergie, lolz!

Over all a must see!

Got this email from a friend yesterday and all I can say is waaahhh, what a timing! We had crabs for dinner but shrimps, prawns, and crabs, they're NOT family aren't they??? But just to be sure, we didn't took our daily dose of vitamin-c last night as well. Got me confusing? Hmmm... please read on and know what I mean.

Here's the email...

Taiwan, a woman suddenly died unexpectedly with signs of bleeding from her ears, nose, mounth & eyes. After a preliminary autopsy it was diagnosed death due to arsenic poisoning death. Where did the arsenic come from?

The police launched an in-depth and extensive investigation. A medical school professor was invited to come to solve the case.

The professor carefully looked at the contents from the deceased's stomach, in less than half an hour, the mystery was solved.

The professor said: 'The deceased did not commit suicide and neither was she murdered, she died of accidental death due to ignorance!'

Everyone was puzzled, why accidental death? The arsenic is of the U.S. military for carrying rice seedlings H Gao.

The professor said: 'The arsenic is produced in the stomach of the deceased.' The deceased used to take 'Vitamin C' everyday, which in itself is not a problem. The problem was that she ate a large portion of shrimp/prawn during dinner. Eating shrimp/prawn is not the problem that's why nothing happened to her family ever though they took the same shrimp/prawn.

However at the same time the deceased also took 'vitamin C', that is where the problem is!

Researchers at the University of Chicago in the United States , found through experiments, food such as soft-shell shrimp/prawn contains a much higher concentration of - five potassium arsenic compounds.

Such fresh food by itself has no toxic effects on the human body!

However, in taking 'vitamin C', due to the chemical reaction, the original non-toxic - five potassium arsenic (As anhydride, also known as arsenic oxide, the chemical formula for As205) changed to a three potassium toxic arsenic (ADB arsenic anhydride), also known as arsenic trioxide, a chemical formula (As203), which is commonly known as arsenic to the public!

Arsenic poisoning have magma role and can cause paralysis to the small blood vessels, "mercapto Jimei"??, inhibits the activity of the liver and fat necrosis change Hepatic Lobules Centre, heart, liver, kidney, intestine congestion, epithelial cell necrosis, telangiectasia.

Therefore, a person who dies of arsenic poisoning will shows signs of bleeding from the ears, nose, mouth & eyes.

Therefore; as a precautionary measure, DO NOT not take shrimp/prawn when taking 'vitamin C'.

What a surprise, I got grab bags for this blog! It doesn't happen quite often so I have to do this right. It has something to do with what my sister has been up to lately-online shopping. All her stuff from shoes to purses, apparels, cosmetics, and even food, she got it all online. Well why not? Shopping online can save you a lot of money and energy. It also allows you to search for the best deals among thousands of stores across the globe! Imagine you don't need to step out your comfort zone to shop. Perfect timing since more and more people uses mask outside, scared of the spreading virus! Sissy's right, stay home and shop lol! I'm pretty sure she'll be looking for new strollers for baby Alex soon. She prefers lightweight strollers because it's easy to maneuver and inexpensive, not to mention super cute. Winks!

And although we love to stay there forever, it's time for us to go home..

Oh yes I'm home and am sick!!! Pretty sure it's because of the boiling hot weather in Cebu. Man I tell you, it was super hot and humid! Do I sound exaggerated? Maybe because am not use to summer air. Here in Zamboanga, we're blessed to have a pretty fair weather. Not harsh and not cruel. So my system was shocked to experience such intense heat, humidity, and dry air. As a result, my asthma got triggered. I'm soo sick right now with flu. I hardly can't breath and having chest pains. Damn, I need a nebulizer! Anyway thanks for all your visit! I'd drop ec and pay visits as soon as I'm well. And will share some of my adventure in Cebu as well. See ya around friends! Smooches!!!

Yes I admit, am getting addicted to facebook same as you do LOL! But the only reason why I keep my account is because of Pet Society, the only feature I understand so far, toinkz! Everybody's got all but good words about facebook but after 3 months since my registration I still couldn't figure it out. MONGGO jud! Anyway as you can see, the picture on the right is my cat MUI-MUI and the other one is his alter ego in pet society. I really enjoy this game but unfortunately was not able to check on Mui for the past few days because of the irritating internet connection! And speaking of IP, the server is such a big time loser as of these moments GRRRRR!

Back to Mui, my baby boy... oh his been acting inlove lately. He's always with his GF, doesn't enjoy his food so much and became a moody nocturnal feline LOL! Needless to say but it bothers me if his flirting around... Hmmmffff! Boi what am I talking about?!!!

Small but terrible! The bombardier beetle, though less than an inch in length is noted for its unique defense mechanism. When threatened, the insect sprays boiling, foul-smelling liquid and steam from its posterior, warding off spiders, birds, and even frogs. The beetle is equipped with "a pair of glands which open at the tip of its abdomen." Each of these has a reservoir that stores an acidic compound and hydrogen peroxide as well as a reaction chamber filled with enzymes dissolved in water. To protect itself, the insect can squeeze the solution from the reservoirs into the reaction chambers to trigger a chemical reaction. The result? Noxious chemicals, water, and steam- at a temperature of about 212 degrees fahrenheit are sprayed onto an attacker.

Researchers have studied the bombardier beetle to learn how to develop more effective and ecologically-sound mist systems. Engineers hope to use spray technology based on the bombardier beetle in car engines and fire extinguishers, as well as in medical drug-delivery devices such as inhalers.

I miss this blog. I miss looking for beautiful souls and sharing their tales here. Been busy with other things lately but I will try my best to keep this blog running. To start, let me share you something that happened a little while ago.

It was noon and still haven't eaten lunch yet. I felt like my headace is on its verge so I went outside to buy some paracetamol. As I opened the door I saw someone lying on the street. An old man who looks so tired and weak. My paranoia crawls in, thoughts are racing through my brain, and yes I was scared! So I went back inside and asked Rixa to buy the medicine instead. I told her that there's an old man lying outside, and knowing that she's kinda brave, I asked her to ask the man what's up and what's wrong. Upon returning, she told me that she can't understand a single word the poor man uttered, but it's so obvious that he's weak and empty handed.

So we gave the poor man some food to revive his energy, thinking he'll be leaving after eating. But after 3 hours, MAN!!! He's still there, even much closer. He's like sitting near our very door, geezzz... I'm starting to feel really scared! What's up with him? He's not a familiar face among the neighborhood. Nevertheless, who ever he is, I hope he's fine and well and yeah, I hope we won't see him tomorrow morning anymore. I'm sooo praning na! Hmmm...praning or O.A lang?! Hmmfff!

Off the coast of the African country Senegal, near the city of Dakar, lies Ile de Goree. For 312 years, until 1848, this island served as a center for a flourishing trade in human souls. Archives show that between 1763 and 1775 alone, more than 103,000 slaves were traded from Goree through the French port of Nantes.

Today though, by visiting the Slave House Museum, visitors could only get a taste of slavery's ugly past. A tour guide named Joseph Ndiaye recounted some of the horrors experienced by the helpless victims. According to him, "their ancestors were deported, their families separated, their hides branded, like so much cattle. The mother might go to America, the father to Brazil, the children to the Antilles." "After being weighed," Ndiaye explained, "the men were appraised by their age and origin, with certain ethnic groups prized for their hardiness or as supposedly prolific breeders.The Yoruba, for example, were prized as stallions."

Underweight captives were fattened like geese before they were auctioned. Slave traders chose young women to use for their sexual pleasure each night. Rebellious slaves were hanged by the thorax instead of by the throat, to prolong their agony.

Since women already know the nature of women, this is of no use to them. For men, we can only hope to distinguish the difference, for a mistake in judgement can result in death.

Women have a very delicate nature. It is virtually impossible to keep one happy all of the time. It is totally impossible to know what one is thinking or feeling. And it is also impossible for us men, knowing how evil they are, not to love them. Women. You can't live with 'em. And, you can't live with 'em.

Fetus in Fetu

Warning: This is weird and extraordinary.

Have you ever heard of Fetus in Fetu? This was the condition of a man in India who looks 9-month old pregnant. The people in their village made fun of him, telling him he looks pregnant. One day of May 1999, he was rushed to the hospital because his stomach is so swollen and he could hardly breath. The doctors think he has a giant tumor and decides to operate him immediately. When they cut him open, they were horrified by what they find inside!

It was the body of the man's twin brother. A half-formed baby that has lain inside him for for 36 long years, as a parasite! The fetus were well developed, it had fingers and quite long nails. It is a baby boy growing inside his body, apparently it was his twin brother growing inside him as a parasite, feeding him off. The man in India has a condition called Fetus in Fetu when one fetus envelops and absorbs its twin inside the womb. This condition occurs in 1 in 500,000 deliveries.

Here in the Philippines, a two month old baby in Baguio City was also diagnose with Fetus in Fetu in 2007.

I feel bad not being able to update this blog. I really like to, in fact it's been two hours of thinking what am I to write here. Since I can't think of anything, let me just say g00d night! I feel so tired and lazy. We've had a great day at the convention but the sun was so cruel which made me so exhausted and sleepy. Ohh, should be sleeping right now. Recognize what song? Some popular song from the past? Yes, songs from the very distant past, possibly the oldest songs ever heard on earth. What are they? Birds0ngs!

Many people identify birds by their colors, their design, their flight pattern, and their nesting habits. But have you ever listened carefully in order to identify birds by their songs? This is quite easy with some birds, since they do not have much variety in their calls. For example, the mischievous crow. Although one of the most intelligent of birds, its raucous "caw,caw" identifies it immediately. Rooks are also noted for their noisy cawing presence. Another bird, whose woeful call can drive you crazy at night, is the whippoorwill. Its name echoes its call, which seems to go on endlessly, especially when you want to sleep.

There are so many kinds of birds in different parts of the world, by their songs, can you name a few? As for me, well I think should have that clock that mark each hour with the song of different bird. At least would learn 12 birdsongs pretty quickly! (^_^)

Yesterday I was feeling perfectly fine. I thought, duh! I miss feeling sick. I wanna rest, sleep and sleep and sleep. I want to have that dose of medicine and the hot chicken soup that mama makes. Runny-nose, sneeze to death and just hide behind my blanket. Yeah! I'm weird. And for that, my wish was granted!

I felt so sick last night! Until now actually. I have terrible colds and my head is so painful. I've took some medicine already, maybe that's why I feel so weird now. I'm hungry and yet I'm full. Tired and yet I couldn't catch my sleep. Haiiizzzt!

"Titanic 2"...???

I admit, more than 10 years ago I was one of the many millions who fell crazy in love with the movie Titanic. Got depressed with the ending, memorized the movie theme song "my heart will go on," LOL! and became a LEO and KATE fan..hehe! The movie was such a phenomenon, but unlike other box office movies, you won't be expecting a sequel to it definitely!

So imagine my awe when I got to see "Titanic: Two the Surface". The sequel, Leonardo's character Jack Dawson is found frozen among the wreckage of Titanic, where he is brought back to the surface and thawed. He then escapes and is on the run from authorities of New York City looking for Rose, only to find out she's dead.

Yeah great right? But does it sound true? Since I had goosebumps watching the trailer, I really surf it through my reliable sources..hahaha! I totally thought that this was real, until I read all the reviews and landed into this site of beautiful trailer mash-ups,.. All I can say is... "OMG! nicely done huh! infairness... murag tinood! LOL!

He's deep voice wakes me up every morning from my vivid dreams. He's footsteps disturbs my sanity and takes away the calm within me. I can do nothing about it for we lived in the same brown roof with the rest of the guys. We have nothing in common, except that we're both stubborn. We often argue on things, these and that. I sometimes feel this beast is born to laugh into my ears filling them with tones of mockery and sarcasm. Well, I guess that's how siblings are...lol!

The beast is my older brother. (^_^) We often argue, we always fight. He's born 7 years older than I am, so I guess that's what you call language barrier, hahaha! But my brother is no monster at all. I guess I'm the monster after all! LOL! Now that he's in Cebu, I mean his work demands him to stay there so he's staying there...duh! Meaning, it's party time for me! Just kidding, I'll miss my brother's cunning and annoyance definitely, hehe! But it also means great things, I can go to Cebu anytime I want... yea boy! So see you s00n beast...! See ya bro!

Sibulao part 2

A fun way to end the year...go somewhere. And so we did, last monday we went to Sibulao, one of my most favorite place on earth. Where life's simple joys exist, where I can be a child again, where every thing is simple and true. I'm thankful to Rixa, she's the one who took us there...hehe! Anyways, our Sibulao/Vitali escapade was really full of fun! The 48 years hike, bonding with the hungry mosqitoes, the ride with Mr. Carabao are just few of the many exciting moments we had there. It's nice to experience life in the bukid once in a while, to breath fresh air and be real. Hmmmm...enough of my story, let me share you more of our pics... (^_^)

Everyone seems to go wireless. When it comes to the use of computers, internet and other multi-media system, many prefers to set up a wireless connection. It is also becoming popular at home market, wireless routers for example allows devices to remotely connect to the internet and each other without the need of those messy cables and wires. I admit, I hate to see spider-liked wires,lol! Of course, the advantages of having a wireless connection is great! Wireless Wi-Fi routers allows someone to use the internet wherever, whenever. Whooo! Just got home from Vitali, a little town that's 78 kilometers away from the city proper. That's the reason why I haven't updated bloggy for the past few days. Actually, we also went up to Sibulao, it's up over the mountains. Men! I'm so freakin tired and sleepy...haha! Anyways, i'll be quick with this entry. I should be sleeping right now. I didn't get to have a good night sleep up in there because of the monster mosquitoes...errrrrrr! Still it was a very fun and satisfying preaching tour with the brothers and sisters in-faith. Always worth the 48 years hike and ul-ul sa bagtak..lolz!

I saw James Bond "Quantum of Solace" just recently, the 22nd film in the James Bond franchise. Though I'm not a fan but I've seen quite a number of it. My favorite Bond of all time is Mr. Roger Moore. Anyway, I've notice that all of Mr. Bond's leading ladies are gorgeous, beautiful, stunning and sexy. I mean, they are all well-chosen. Every different character has a unique style and certain fashion statement. But there is one thing all the leading ladies have in common, their lingerie!

Not just that sexy lingerie but leather lingerie. Yes! the images we've seen in the web, movies, billboards and magazines. Beautiful and sexy men and women are wearing it. With other paraphenalia like whip, chains, collars, etc. with them. Halle Berry looks so gorgeous with that leather bra and leather garterbelts no doubt! But leather lingerie can also be worn as an outerwear too specially corsets, bustiers, hot pants, skirts and dresses as well. It definitely adds more attitude and appeal to the ones who's wearing lingerie. Why choose just lingerie when you can wear leather?
Look and feel like a moviestar, have that leather lingerie in your closet now!

Hayyy bien cansao! Pasensya ya, yo no pwede ya pensa.. hehe! As I'm doing my daily blog hopping, I've notice that most of the bloggers are bisaya. It makes me proud being one. Although I speak cebuano or bisaya jud, I'm from zamboanga. Chavacano is also my native tongue. It sounds like spanish, cause it's broken spanish actually. "Se talya tu na pueblo dol talya tu na Mexico.."hehe.. Anyways, I notice that there are only few zamboangenyo bloggers in the blogging world. Or maybe I just don't know them, perhaps I haven't blog hop into their blogs yet.. lol!

Admittedly, I don't know much about online shopping until my sister told me about it. She says it's shopping with just your fingers. It has been months since I've been hearing the buzz. Each and every lip I read keeps on talking about it. The hippies and the geeks, the rich and the not so so, the emo's and the nerds, everyone seems so crazy about it. Like a drug that makes them go insane.

Since I'm like George, lolz! I did my research on the matter. Hopped into websites and blogs, read the news and articles, etc. etc. Then "the day" came, Twilight premiered in the theaters worldwide. People flocked into the cinemas, yelling and screaming and day dreaming!

We watched it last night, vine, kath, memet and me. Good movie, worth the penny. But to be honest, I was expecting more. More encounter with the villains, more fight and baseball scenes... (hey! Alice rockz! love her!!!) And more ambak-ambak sa punuan, hehe! Oh well, it's still too soon to expect much, it's the first book after all. Anyways, I did enjoy the movie. Except for the girls sitting behind us, they were screaming, and yelling, and giggling. I know everyone is entitled to their hour of enjoyment, but duh!!! kilig na unta, dili nalang kay saba...toinkz!

Okey back to the movie, the lines are pang "shoutout" (e.g- your scent is like a drug!) LOL! I'm so looking forward for the second sequel, wish I could have the books... *sigh*

The movie, like the book, deserves the fame and admiration it is getting right now. And I would also like to believe that there exist such love, love that is "unconditional and irrevocable"... NOSEBLEED! Overall, a must see! Very wholesome. (^_^)

I'm sooo watching it right now! Tuesday nights are Prison Break's nights, lol! The last time I was watching this kinda show was with the T.V series "24"...haha! 48 years ago!

Prison Break is an action packed T.V series. The one airing right now is actually the fourth installment already. It's a story about two brothers, Lincoln and Michael. Lincoln was wrongly accused and charge for a crime he did not commit and Michael, a genius structural engineer who devotes his whole life to help his brother escape prison.

Anyways, I'm sure you know much about Michael Scofield and Prison Break. I'm just so hooked up right now with this fourth season and probably the last one. MEN! Wentworth Miller is such a WINNER! LOL! Father told me to buy the complete series of it, atleast from the pirates..hehe!
Will grab it soon! If that's the case, then I bet it will be a dvd marathon, lol!

Last night was a blast! As what was planned everything turned out well.
The surprise despedida de soltera party for ate SJ was really sweet and touching. She is completely clueless that we are preparing a little something for her. It's not bongga though, all we have was a super uber moist chocolate cake, ice tea, ulam and rice(courtesy of mudra) and that's it!

Anyways ate SJ, congratz!!! Ang haba nang hair mu...lolz!

Will good triumph over evil? Well, last night it did not! I can't help myself but to get affected with what I saw last night. I am in anguish every time I see his smile. His cunning and scheming is definitely working really really well, but no doubt it shows a crystal clear reality...that he is the weakest, most pathetic and insecure homo sapien in the planet. He doesn't deserve a space in my blog, but I can't help it!

And why there are these puppets who are so naive and shallow? Can't they look at the picture as a whole? Why are they shedding their tears and sorry for their decisions when they've chosen it anyway. Why do they have to act in such an immature way, when they could have talk and iron things out and not be blinded with peppered words. Does surviving means leaving your heart behind? Perhaps. But even without your heart, your principles will always lead you to the right path.

Bottom line is.... Reality bites! After all, Survivor is a reality show..hehe! I want to explode last night!!! If only I could just enter the T.V screen! Grrrrrrrrr! Marlon, mura raba ka'g gwapo!!!

Muy-muy is having cough and colds. I feel so sad looking at him having a hard time breathing. Oh! if only I can let him blow his nose. Huhuhu! It's he's fault, he is always playing and roaming around the neighborhood. He doesn't care if it's raining or if it's dusk already, all he wants is to flirt with her GF which pissed me! Lolz!

But because I love him dearly, as a mama... I couldn't just sit and look at him suffering from terrible colds. Good thing my papang went with me to the Vet. last wednesday. Hey! What were you thinking? Muy is a cat, my meow-meow! Hmmmm.... Anywayz, Dr. Rey, the Vet. gave him 3 shots of injection. I mean, 1 shot everyday for 3 days..needless to say, haha!
Good thing now muy-muy is feeling better, much much better! Hayyyy...

Nobody remembers who took this shot 20 years ago but this picture is definitely one of my favorites. I still doesn't exist when this was taken, lol! But the children in this picture are special, I look up to them so much. They are all grown ups now. Truly, beautiful souls in my life.

I've been feeling quite restless these past few days. Dunno if it's just part of my dramatic moments or big time ka-OAhan. No it's not, I need a break! Huh, as if my career is busy..lolz! A need a break from my laptop. He and me seems so tight already. I need space and some time alone.

So what do I do?

Go to the carnaval! Waahihihi! Yes, I did went to the carnaval with my cousins, papangs, and fwends! I scream my lungs out while on the rides. It's a great way to loosen up infairness!
The best part was the mr. Octopus ride. Errrrrrr! That was nerve wrecking and I love it!
I planed to take some shots, but it's just so impossible... mabuhian nuh,lolz!

Sometimes, the answer to our problems, shallow or deep, simply lies to one simple solution. We have to keep the child in us. We may grow old, but our inner child, who has the world's most noble joys and happiness, should always remain deep within our hearts.

The first day of school our professor introduced himself and challenged us to get to know someone we didn't already know. I stood up to look around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder.

I turned around to find a wrinkled, little old lady beaming up at me with a smile that lit up her entire being.

She said, 'Hi handsome. My name is Rose. I'm eighty-seven years old. Can I give you a hug?'

I laughed and enthusiastically responded, 'Of course you may!' and she gave me a giant squeeze.

'Why are you in college at such a young, innocent age?' I asked.

She jokingly replied, 'I'm here to meet a rich husband, get married, and have a couple of kids...'

'No seriously,' I asked. I was curious what may have motivated her to be taking on this challenge at her age.

'I always dreamed of having a college education and now I'm getting one!' she told me.

After class we walked to the student union building and shared a chocolate milkshake.

We became instant friends. Every day for the next three months we would leave class together and talk nonstop. I was always mesmerized listening to this 'time machine' as she shared her wisdom and experience with me.

Over the course of the year, Rose became a campus icon and she easily made friends wherever she went. She loved to dress up and she reveled in the attention bestowed upon her from the other students. She was living it up..

At the end of the semester we invited Rose to speak at our football banquet. I'll never forget what she taught us. She was introduced and stepped up to the podium. As she began to deliver her prepared speech, she dropped her three by five cards on the floor.

Frustrated and a little embarrassed she leaned into the microphone and simply said, 'I'm sorry I'm so jittery. I gave up beer for Lent and this whiskey is killing me! I'll never get my speech back in order so let me just tell you what I know.'

As we laughed she cleared her throat and began, 'We do not stop playing because we are old; we grow old because we stop playing.

There are only four secrets to staying young, being happy, and achieving success. You have to laugh and find humor every day. You've got to have a dream. When you lose your dreams, you die.

We have so many people walking around who are dead and don't even know it!

There is a huge difference between growing older and growing up.

If you are nineteen years old and lie in bed for one full year and don't do one productive thing, you will turn twenty years old. If I am eighty-seven years old and stay in bed for a year and never do anything I will turn eighty-eight.

Anybody can grow older. That doesn't take any talent or ability. The idea is to grow up by always finding opportunity in change. Have no regrets.

The elderly usually don't have regrets for what we did, but rather for things we did not do. The only people who fear death are those with regrets.'

She concluded her speech by courageously singing 'The Rose.'

She challenged each of us to study the lyrics and live them out in our daily lives. At the year's end Rose finished the college degree she had begun all those years ago.

One week after graduation Rose died peacefully in her sleep.

Over two thousand college students attended her funeral in tribute to the wonderful woman who taught by example that it's never too late to be all you can possibly be.

These words have been passed along in loving memory of ROSE.

REMEMBER, GROWING OLDER IS MANDATORY. GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL.

I'm having this heartbeat-drumbeat every night for the past 3 weeks already. I usually sleeps at 9:30 pm, I must have not less than 8 hours of sleep every night to keep me alive. I'll be an insomniatic monster if I don't get to have a restful sleep. But for the past 3 weeks, my sleeping patterns changed big time! I sleep at 11 pm, that is if I don't get consumed with thoughts. Thoughts that even bothers me during the days.
These is also the reason why I'm so lazy to update my blogs and do the much needed blog hopping, walking, and visits. Errrrrr!!!

I'm going head over heels about these souls. I'm guilty again. I'm soooo hook to them right now!
They give me nerve wrecks every night, but still I can't go to bed without seeing them.

Oh well, I guess this is because I'm just a certified SURVIVOR fan! Hahahaha..lolz! toinkz!!!

On the last week of October, papang is going to Camiguin. WAhhhhhhh I'd like to go too!!! Well, who doesn't want to step on that island? I'm not into beaches and island hopping actually but I love travels and roadtrips, riding the Rural bus is so much fun, lol!

But here is my dilemma... 2 months from now, Vine and I are planning to go to Butuan to attend the Sign Langauge District Convention. I've never been to Butuan and don't have any idea what is it like there, which makes it more exciting. Hmmmm... Camiguin or Butuan??? Which? Both??? toinKz!!!

Ohhh well... My head says camiguin... my heart says butuan...

Time runs so fast that it seems like things are happening over and over again! Like a color wheel, it just keeps on turning and turning with the same colors that goes up, then goes down. I don't even understand what I'm talking about. I feel so busted! Like an old machine messing up! I have lots of things to do, but right now I just don't have the spark to do it. I honestly want a roller coaster ride right this very moment! I want to scream my lungs out until there's voice no more,lol!

But as what I've said, I feel so busted. Why? Coz here she goes again!!! The unwelcomed visitor knocks once again! Five days of feeling extremely lazy, wooohhhh!
I wish I can continually be normal though she's around.

It is lighter than cotton, yet ounce for ounce it is stronger than steel. For decades scientists have studied the silk produced by orb-weaving spiders. Dragline silk-the strongest of the seven silks these spiders can spin-has attracted the most attention. It is tougher and more waterproof than silkworm strands, which are commonly used in clothing. The manufacturer of industrial fibers such as Kevlar requires high temperatures and the use of organic solvents. In contrast, spiders produce silk at room temperature, using water as a solvent. Furthermore, the dragline is also tougher than Kevlar. If enlarged to the size of a football field, a web of dragline silk could stop a jumbo jet in flight!

Not surprisingly, researchers are intrigued by the toughness of dragline silk. Scientists would like to exploit that property in items ranging from bulletproof vests to suspension cables for bridges. But replicating dragline silk is not easy, for the material is made inside the spider's body and the process is not yet fully understood.

Isn't it humbling to realize that a lot of smart people are trying to replicate what these tiny, little creatures in our basements can do naturally!

How different the world would be without birds! Their chirping, their songs, their varied colors and flight- all contribute to the beautiful variety of life. But how often do we stop to listen to and observe them? If you are a city dweller surrounded by the hustle and bustle of daily life and the noise of traffic, you may not even noticed the birds in your neighborhood. Even if you lived in the country side, it is easy to take them for granted.
But would you like to see your local birds close up?
You can do just that by means of a simple bird feeder in your backyard, places within range of a window. Then, all you need is a pair of binoculars and a camera with a good zoom lens- and a little patience! Have plenty of high-speed film at the ready and a good illustrated bird guide book for identification. Then watch, listen, and enjoy!

Sometimes I want to be like a bird, then i'll always fly away and move away. And yet I will always find my way back home, my home sweet home!

I had this weird feeling lately, I can't sleep at night. I crave for too much food, I don't like seeing bright lights, hearing sounds and every scent just lingers on. I'm scared when things like these happens, coz it only means one thing... I will see visions, visions that tells me my enemy is coming! And it did, my migraine attacks once again! I've been struggling with this painful enemy since I was 9 years old. The throbbing kind of pain in the one side of my head kills me for hours, and even for days. All I did was to lie down in my dark room while savoring the agony.
Oh migraine, my migraine!!! You are the only one capable of hurting me this way...huhu!

That's the reason why I haven't updated this blog for 4 days, I didn't even want to look at my laptop and think about turning it on. But I'm back! I'm fine now, though I haven't moved on..lol! Have alot of catching up to do...hayyyyy ...yawat nalang, hehe!

Thanks joanne for this "about mE" taggy tag... Haha.. facts about me...hmmmm...ok let me see... if there's something interesting or boring about me...hehe!

1. I am an OC (obssesive-compulsive). I'll loose my senses if my quirks are not done as it is,lol!

2. I can't eat something sweet and cold anymore....waaahhhhh! I have terrible tonsils!

3. I find it hard to make friends easily, reserved and intoverted, quite and mysterious..haha! Actually, it's really hard to get to know me, I'm a hard core to break. But to those who know me trulily, they will tell how crazy, silly and abnormal I am. Hey..I'm a good girl, hehe... I'm well-loved by those who truly know me.

4. I don't like beaches, oceans, or the sea. I find it soooo creepy. I'd rather be in the woods..hehe!

5. I hate being cuddled! I don't like being touch. Even I dunno why?....lol!

6. I love to eat exotic food like "lengua de baka"(cow's tongue) "sizzling buntot" and brains soup...haha! And I eat fast...as in, fast break... I don't even chew the food sometimes..hehe!

7. I'm very good at showing no emotions. That doesn't mean I'm insensitive, on the contrary I'm a very good observer, and my observations and theories are mostly tama... Responsive but not reactive, ganun ako.

8. Proud to be single since birth!!! Mabuhay ang mga mangkay....bwahahahaha!

I was looking for some stuff at the eklover and happened to bump in this dusty box of old pictures that my lola kept.

As I was going through it, my eyes could not believe what I just saw!!! A very old picture of mom and maya!!(my auntie) Wheeew! when was this taken??? 48 years ago? hahaha!

Lola is just sooo amazing, able to keep this picture for so long now, to think our family was a migrant from other place..(sa negros man gikan,LOL!) Mom and Maya were still single when this photo was taken. Oh and their fashion statement..is'nt it cute, and their hairstyle... men! hehehe... I wonder if they'll be my fashion icon?? hmmmm! LOL!

She arrived two days ago. Her presence gives me the weirdest feelings every time she's around. I'm always craving for something to eat, full yet hungry, starving yet full. I hate everyone around me, they seem to pissed me whenever she's around. I also feel so lazy and sleepy and tired. If my job will be done or not, I don't seem to care.

Why does she have to visit me every month??? The five days that she will be around are the ugliest days of my living. I can't think, I can't move, I can't have a good night sleep, I can't function!

But I know I have to deal with you all my life...or until I'm fifty,LOL!
