Beauty and the Beast

Among all the other fairy tales, Beauty and the Beast is the no. 1 in my list. Beast shows us that behind those fiercely face is a heart that is weak and scared. And Belle shows courage, wisdom and true beauty that can only be felt by the heart. Oh well, nag inO-A napod ko...hahaha!
There was a time when I've been so addicted with this story. I watch it like almost everyday. Needless to say, I know! I don't know why am I even posting this...wahahahaah! I just like the picture maybe... Anyways, thanks for reading this, if you did!
Can anyone tell me where can I watch fairy tales online? Thanks!

One of the nicest tag i've received so far, hehe..thanks ate jerla for this lovely meme!

A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom. And knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.
As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car.

Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him.
He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.
Curious, but somehow disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with the young man's name embossed in gold.
Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said, "With all your money you give me a Bible?"
And stormed out of the house, living the Bible.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possesions to his son.
He needed to come home immediately and take care of his things. When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart.

He begun to search through his father's important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago.
With tears, he opened the Bible and begun to turn the pages. His father had carefully underlined a verse, Matt. 7:11, "And if ye, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly Father which is in heaven, give to those who ask Him?"
As he reads those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words...PAID IN FULL.
How many times do we miss God's blessing because they are not packaged as we expected?
I trust you enjoyed this. Pass it on to others. Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for...
PLS. SEND THIS TO ATLEAST FIVE PEOPLE SO AS TO LET THIS GREAT LESSON FLOW AROUND.

I got an email from a good friend this morning, and thought I should post it here. It's something each of us must realized before it will be too late.

TAKE HOLD OF EVERY MOMENT

A friend of mine opened his wife's underwear drawer and picked up a silk paper wrapped package:

"This, - he said - isn't any ordinary package."
He unwrapped the box and stared at both the silk paper and the box.
"She got this the first time we went to New York, 8 or 9 years ago. She has never put it on. Was saving it for a special occasion.
Well, I guess this is it. He got near the bed and placed the gift box next to the other clothings he was taking to the funeral house, his wife had just died. He turned to me and said:

"Never save something for a special occasion. Every day in your life is a special occasion".
I still think those words changed my life.
Now I read more and clean less.
I sit on the porch without worrying about anything.
I spend more time with my family, and less at work.
I understood that life should be a source of experience to be lived up to, not survived through. I no longer keep anything. I use crystal glasses every day. I'll wear new clothes to go to the supermarket, if i feel like it.
I don't save my special perfume for special occasions, I use it whenever I want to. The words "Someday..." and "One Day..." are fading away from my dictionary. If it's worth seeing, listening or doing, I want to see, listen or do it now. I don't know what my friend's wife would have done if she knew she wouldn't be there the next morning, this nobody can tell. I think she might have called her relatives and closest friends.
She might call old friends to make peace over past quarrels. I'd like to think she would go out for Chinese, her favourite food. It's these small things that I would regret not doing, if I knew my time had come.
I would regret it, because I would no longer see the friends I would meet, letters... letters that i wanted to write "One of this days".
I would regret and feel sad, because I didn't say to my brothers and sons, not times enough at least, how much I love them.
Now, I try not to delay, postpone or keep anything that could bring laughter and joy into our lives.
And, on each morning, I say to myself that this could be a special day.
Each day, each hour, each minute, is special.
If you read this, it's because someone cares for you and because, probably, there's someone you care about.
Remember that "One day" is far away... or might never come. .

Thank you to my technician/signer friends who went here last night to fix our laptop. Infairness, bilib ko..hehe! For the past two weeks, I've been frustrated with this internet connection stuff. The dial-up is just so very slow so we decided to have the broadband again. Papito won't have to worry with the bills na, i'll be in charge of it..depends on the opps i'll get,LOL! Anyways, the broadband is back a week ago but I guess gilutos lang jud ko! I still cannot connect! ERROR..ERROR! blah blah blah! I don't understand! Then the technician from their company, came over and check it. Do you know what he said? That I should change my USB lan card coz it's deformed. That I will have to buy another lan card worth 1000 more or less! HUH??? makalisang!
So I consulted my technician friends, A and AI..hehe! Last night they came by in our house and you know what they just did??? AI just got a needle and did some tuslok-tuslok...hahahaha! ( basta iya lng man tu gituslok ang port sa likod..hehe) GOod job..good job! I'm so proud of you! ek-ek! Now we don't have to spend 1000 for that thing. Right now, i'll just have to activate the broadband and I'm good to go! Whaaah, I'm just sooo happy...

A flaming bird! That is how the ancient Greeks described the phoenix, a mythical bird that ended its life in flames and later emerged from the ashes.
Centuries ago, the name of the phoenix was transferred to real bird, the flamingo.

A single flamingo is a marvel of design, from head to foot. Consider the beak, an oblong, lidded box, turned down at the end so that it is parallel to the bottom of the pond as the head sweeps back and forth searching for food in the shallow water. Like a whale, inside a flamingo's beak are bristles that traps small edible bits of algae, as the tongue pumps water in and out. The flamingo's neck and legs are, in proportion, the longest of any birds. It may stand over six feet tall. Its stiltlike legs are suited to life in shallow, salty lakes. It even rest while standing in the water, and in the likeliest of positions-standing on one leg!
The flamingo truely lives up to its name, better than a legend could. A flock of this beautiful souls is a sight so wonderful, like a fire storm of pink and black filling the sky. Truely a marvel of design!
