HYENA...

Few animals are more maligned than the hyena. And admittedly, they are not exactly endearing creatures. The beady eyes, sloping back, and stolid manner all suggest something scruffy and villainous to many human observers. Besides, the hyena laughs and giggles like a maniac. Its eerie whoop often pierces the quite of the African night. But hyenas have received more than their fair share of negative publicity. So let's set the records straight on a few counts. First of all, the hyena is often thought of a dog or some sort, but no, it isn't. A distinct species, it's resemblance to the dog is purely superficial.

They are also thought of as cowards, on the contrary they are not. If so then they wouldn't be effective hunters. Yes, hyenas are not just scavengers. They have in fact the exceptionally powerful shoulders and strongest jaws of all the African carnivores. No wonder only the male lion could resist the onslaught of a group of hyenas.

But why does it laugh??? The hyenas manic giggle may sound unpleasant but he is merely communicating with his fellow clan member. Each has their own whoop which the other hyenas recognized. In this way, widely scattered clan members let one another know where they so that they can regroup if the need arise. Their excitement at making a kill or discovering carrion is voiced in high-pitched giggles.

Do you dislike the hyena? Granted it is not cuddly or appealing but after all, it's what makes this creature unique and exceptional. The hyenas other qualities such as power and cunning does impress and fascinates us, they truly are beautiful souls.

If you can sleep without the aid of drugs,


Then...... you are probably a CAT.

a cAt & a dOg

These shots were taken at my friends house a few months ago. The dog's name is Puti and the kitten..oh I forgot,LOL! It's a fact that cats and dogs hate each other so much, but this time it is absolutely wrong! I miss my dog morgan, he used to play with muymuy my miming..huhuhu!

Isn't it amazing seeing this picture! It is indeed possible for two very opposite souls to be friends.

We sometimes prejudge people, thinking that we are from very opposite worlds. But what we must always remember is that no matter what... every life in this planet is precious and should be treated with respect. Who knows, we might cherish the soul at first we just think of as nothing special. And honestly, this makes me feel a little guilty.

Cats and Dogs, they can be best of friends!

A flaming bird! That is how the ancient Greeks described the phoenix, a mythical bird that ended its life in flames and later emerged from the ashes.
Centuries ago, the name of the phoenix was transferred to real bird, the flamingo.

A single flamingo is a marvel of design, from head to foot. Consider the beak, an oblong, lidded box, turned down at the end so that it is parallel to the bottom of the pond as the head sweeps back and forth searching for food in the shallow water. Like a whale, inside a flamingo's beak are bristles that traps small edible bits of algae, as the tongue pumps water in and out. The flamingo's neck and legs are, in proportion, the longest of any birds. It may stand over six feet tall. Its stiltlike legs are suited to life in shallow, salty lakes. It even rest while standing in the water, and in the likeliest of positions-standing on one leg!
The flamingo truely lives up to its name, better than a legend could. A flock of this beautiful souls is a sight so wonderful, like a fire storm of pink and black filling the sky. Truely a marvel of design!

the Chicken!

Is the world's most popular bird probably. According to estimates, there are over 13 billion chickens! And it's meat is so popular that more than 73 billion pound of it are consumed each year. And hens, produce some 600 billion eggs a year worldwide. Chicken is a descent of the red jungle fowl of Asia. And man soon discovered that chickens can be their very best friend. Chickens are raised for domestic and commercial use. Who doesn't love chicken meat??? It blends perfectly with different flavorings. Wether fried, roasted, broiled, or stewed. Or omelet, sunny side up, and scrambled...hmmmm sooo yummy! There is no cookbook in this planet that doesn't have chicken recipes, that's for sure! We should be thankful and grateful to chickens, for the pleasure and good life they thus bring us. And our God, for giving us these chickens... life would completely be different and sad without the existance of these beautiful souls, the cHicKens.
